Nintendo has published its latest eShop highlights for April 16, 2026, spotlighting this week’s featured new releases on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2, alongside a pair of new demo picks. The official round-up includes seven new-release highlights and two demo highlights.

New release highlights

  • Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream – Nintendo’s quirky life sim returns on Switch, putting players in charge of an island filled with silliness, drama, friendship, romance and unexpected surprises.
  • PRAGMATA – Capcom’s sci-fi action adventure heads to Switch 2, bringing its futuristic setting and hacking-focused twist to Nintendo’s new platform.
  • MOUSE: P.I. For Hire – This stylish noir shooter sends private investigator Jack Pepper into a jazz-fuelled, guns-blazing adventure on Switch 2.
  • Overwatch® – Blizzard’s free-to-play, team-based hero shooter arrives on Switch 2 with its always-on multiplayer action.
  • Without a Dawn – A dark psychological and philosophical visual horror novel launching on Nintendo Switch.
  • Gecko Gods – A curiosity-driven puzzle adventure where players climb, solve and sail across a forgotten island world on Switch.
  • A Storied Life: Tabitha – A cosy narrative game centred on memory, legacy, discovery and joy.
